• ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Operation Starlight was born out of necessity. As Tybee Island has grown in popularity, our police officers have encountered an increasing number of children who have become lost on the beach, abused or have been unfortunate enough to witness their guardians being arrested. Operation Starlight is a program that provides comfort and care for these children while they are temporarily displaced.
